The Project
The Ministry Of Defence required a highly-secure Oracle database.
The solution had to be capable of transferring highly-classified data between separate sites, with less than one-second latency. Since our partner specialised in supporting only the client’s software applications, they contacted Xynomix to deliver expert Oracle database consultancy.
We began by discussing the suitability of Oracle-based options that would meet the client’s needs. Eventually, we devised a modern, secure environment using an Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) and a robust lifecycle management strategy.
Our Solution
The solutions we recommended were identified for the levels of scalability and resilience they offered. Crucially, this approach would meet the speed and security demands of transferring highly-classified data within a sub-one-second timeframe.
